Sammy loves Cheers

When Dave and I sit down to watch a show or a movie Frankie always comes and joins us and sits up on the couch with us. Sometimes Sammy will stay with us, but usually he leaves and goes into the bedroom to hang out and sleep. There is one exception though. Whenever we put on Cheers Sammy comes running in, finds a spot and sits and watches Cheers with us. He's been watching reruns of Cheers since he was a kitten!

Sammy and his tongue

Not sure if I have posted about this before or not, but Sammy loves to stick out his tongue. He's been doing it since the day we met him. Sometimes he will do it when he's playing or hanging out, but mostly it's when he's been lazy and sleeping.

Shower time

Frankie, curious kitty that she is, has decided to start playing in the shower. She figured out that she can push the door open with her paw. She'll go in for a little bit and then make sure Sammy goes in there before she leaves and tries to get him in trouble by being in there.

New box

We made the kitties and new toy. We took a cardboard box and cut an opening in it for the cats to go thru and made a bunch of smaller holes in it so that they could peek through and see each other and then try and get each other through the holes. They enjoy it.

Frankie loves Daddy

Frankie loves to be with Dave. No matter where he goes she wants to sit with him or be on him. Whenever he goes to sit on the couch she follows him and then gets up and sits in his lap. Whenever he lays down on the bed to rest she will go up and lay on him as well. And then there's times when she will decide she needs to come over and see me and has to get up real close and personal.

Sammy's new toy

Sammy has decided he has a new favorite toy. Dave was drinking a Snapple and when he was done he gave Sammy the bottle cap. Sammy loved it, he started batting the cap all around the bathroom floor. It ended up going onto the carpet and he realized it wasn't as fun as the bathroom floor. So he picked it up and carried it back into the bathroom to play with it. A few days later I had a Snapple and Sammy saw me with it. He followed me and when I put it down he jumped up on the table and tried to take the cap off the bottle to play with it.

Childproofing the closets

After moving in with my parents Frankie decided she needed more things to explore. She started opening the closet doors and going inside to explore. We would come home and she would be playing inside or sleeping in there. We became tired of having to rehang clothes and put boxes back up on shelves. After having some clothes ruined we decided we had had it. We had to velcro all the closet doors shut to keep Frankie out of them.
