Sammy loves Cheers
When Dave and I sit down to watch a show or a movie Frankie always comes and joins us and sits up on the couch with us. Sometimes Sammy will stay with us, but usually he leaves and goes into the bedroom to hang out and sleep. There is one exception though. Whenever we put on Cheers Sammy comes running in, finds a spot and sits and watches Cheers with us. He's been watching reruns of Cheers since he was a kitten!

New box
We made the kitties and new toy. We took a cardboard box and cut an opening in it for the cats to go thru and made a bunch of smaller holes in it so that they could peek through and see each other and then try and get each other through the holes. They enjoy it.
Frankie loves Daddy
Frankie loves to be with Dave. No matter where he goes she wants to sit with him or be on him. Whenever he goes to sit on the couch she follows him and then gets up and sits in his lap. Whenever he lays down on the bed to rest she will go up and lay on him as well. And then there's times when she will decide she needs to come over and see me and has to get up real close and personal.

Sammy's new toy
Sammy has decided he has a new favorite toy. Dave was drinking a Snapple and when he was done he gave Sammy the bottle cap. Sammy loved it, he started batting the cap all around the bathroom floor. It ended up going onto the carpet and he realized it wasn't as fun as the bathroom floor. So he picked it up and carried it back into the bathroom to play with it. A few days later I had a Snapple and Sammy saw me with it. He followed me and when I put it down he jumped up on the table and tried to take the cap off the bottle to play with it.
Childproofing the closets
After moving in with my parents Frankie decided she needed more things to explore. She started opening the closet doors and going inside to explore. We would come home and she would be playing inside or sleeping in there. We became tired of having to rehang clothes and put boxes back up on shelves. After having some clothes ruined we decided we had had it. We had to velcro all the closet doors shut to keep Frankie out of them.
Copycat
For a long time now Sammy has been throwing himself down on the floor and flipping over to show us his belly so that we will rub it for him. He does it so much that frankie has realized it gets him a lot of attention some now she has started copying him and will lay down and roll ovver and show us her belly so we will pet it for her.
Toy Bin
We have a basket in the bottom of our bookshelf where we keep the cats' toys. Frankie has figured out that that is where everything is and she will go grab the basket and pull it out and then rummage through the basket for the particular toy she wants.

Playing on the shower
Once we moved into the parents house the cats had some new surroundings. Frankie discovered that the top of the shower was a good spot to sit. She goes from the toilet to the window to the top of the shower and then looks down on everything. She also discovered that there is a door near the shower that she can reach and push. She'll get up there and then close the door to the room we are in and then cry because she can't get to us. It's her new favorite spot though.

Mirror, mirror on the wall...who's the handsomest kitty of them all?!?!?!
Never had a cat that is so vain before. Sammy spends most of his day looking at himself in the mirror. Don't know if he thinks there is another kitty in there, like a friend, or if he just thinks he's that good looking. We'll wake up and he will be laying on the floor looking into the mirror. We'll come home and he'll be sitting in front of it checking himself out. He's discovered that there's a spot at the end of the bed where he can sit and just stare at himself, it's covered with cat hair.
Frisbee Coasters
So Frankie has decided that the coasters would make a good toy. She pushes them off the table and then picks them up and carries them to us. We'll throw them like a frisbee and she will go get the coaster and bring it back so that we can throw it again. She's a weird kitty.
